Dallin McKade Bacon Dallin McKade Bacon
(October 24, 1997 - June 12, 2012)

Dallin McKade Bacon entered this life early on October 24, 1997, and left far too early on June 12, 2012.

Dallin was an incredibly curious young man and he loved to explore, especially if fire was involved. His favorite activities included hurling objects with a trebuchet, impromptu scientific experiments, making and eating candy, candle making, origami, and fireworks.

He was a talented and enthusiastic utility infielder and outfielder and tough hitter for the American Fork Rockies, and enjoyed playing on volleyball, soccer and flag football teams. Dallin was a Star rank scout in his local troop and enjoyed camping, hiking and fishing. He just completed his 8th grade year at American Fork Junior High with what he called his "ultimate report card": 4.0 GPA, perfect attendance and exemplary citizenship in every class. He particularly enjoyed class work that involved hands-on construction and science. He had a quick mind and was always sharing his knowledge of trivia with those around him.

Dallin was soon to be ordained a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood and was well known for his friendly, outgoing demeanor and contagious smile. He was a good-natured and beloved son, brother, cousin, grandson, and friend, and an example of love and infectious good humor to all those around him.

He will be sorely missed by his loving parents, Curtis and Rebecca Bacon, sister Annika, twin brother Alek, older brother Kennon, grandparents Dennis and Shannon Bacon and Earl and Anita Woolley, 24 aunts and uncles, 54 cousins and a multitude of friends including Maria, his pet Leopard Gecko.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the American Fork West Stake Center, 688 West 500 North. Family and friends may call Friday evening, June 15, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Stake Center and one hour prior to services on Saturday afternoon. Interment, American Fork Cemetery.
